Ingredients:

¼ cup almond or peanut butter

1 teaspoon grated ginger

2 tablespoons low sodium tamari

1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar

1 teaspoon agave or maple syrup

Pinch of sesame oil

3-4 tablespoons filtered hot water, more as needed

Sea salt and pepper, to taste

 

Blend all together and try on this broccoli salad:

1 large head broccoli, cut into florets

2 scallions, chopped

½ small red onion, sliced

¼ cup chopped cashews or sliced almonds

2 tablespoons sesame seeds

1 tablespoon miso paste

2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon sesame oil

½” fresh turmeric root, grated (or ½ teaspoon ground turmeric)

1 teaspoon agave or maple syrup

Juice of ½ lemon

¼ cup filtered water

 

Put all in a bowl and whisk to combine.  For the salad you could do ½ papaya, cut in half lengthwise, peeled and julienned 2 cups baby arugula 1 avocado, peeled, pitted and sliced 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro 1 sprouted corn tortilla, toasted and cut into thin strips. Adapted by foodbabe.com
