
FOODS THAT ARE OK FOR AGES 2-3
-Low-fat milk, 2-3 servings of dairy per day
-Other dairy (soft pasteurized cheese, natural yogurt, cottage cheese)
-Iron-fortified cereals, 4-6 servings of cereals and all grains
-Other gains (some breads, pasta, crackers, and rice)
-All vegetables, cut up or sliced; preferably fresh or frozen; 2-3 servings per day
-All fruits, cut up or sliced; preferably fresh; 2-3 servings per day
-Protein, same as 1-2 years old; can add natural peanut butter; 2 servings per day
-Combination foods (casseroles, stews). Introduce one food at a time, allowing at least 3 days before introducing the next food.
